How much does InTaxi cost ?
You can download the InTaxi app either from the App Store and from Google Play Store totally free of charge.
Requesting a cab via theapp is totally free of charge.a, you can also choose whether to pay for the service directly through the app or at the end of the ride to the taxi driver: the meter and the amount indicated on it always counts!

How do I register for the service ?
Once you have downloaded the app from the store, you are asked to sign up, this is a guided step where you are asked to
User data: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone.
After entering the data, a activation code via Sms, this step is essential to avoid identity theft or reservation issues.
After completing these simple steps you are already operational and can already call or book the cab.

How to apply for a Taxi ?
Already on the screen following login, the app will will geolocate your location and via the yellow "call a cab" button you will be able to immediately request a cab.
By clicking on the button you will be asked to to confirm the address and house number, to avoid location errors due to GPS, make sure this FUNDAMENTAL data is correct before launching a call committing a cab, which will not be available for another user in need.
In case the detected address is incorrect you can change it, simply by clicking on it, according to your needs, starting by typing the name of the street and selecting it when it is suggested by the search engine.
After confirmation, a request is initiated to the cab nearest to you, which will arrive in a few minutes (the estimate in minutes is already visible on the home screen).
If you have additional needs for your cab ride you can indicate them via the appropriate "Options" button and select the features you need for your cab ride.

How do I accumulate points from my loyalty programs ?
Through the "menu" command in the upper left corner, it is possible to access the "Loyalty Cards".
On this screen you can enter your loyalty card code that will allow you to accumulate points during each cab ride aboard cabs participating in the InTaxi app service.
Once the code is entered, simply confirm via the "Save" button in the upper right corner.

Can I pay for the cab ride through the InTaxi app ?
In order to pay for your cab ride directly through the InTaxi app, without having to use a credit card or cash, you must first register your payment method.
To enter your means of payment, you need to click on "payment methods," which is accessible via the menu at the top left .
On this screen you will be asked to enter your card information: Cardholder Name, Card Number and Expiration.
The data will be saved for subsequent runs to speed up subsequent payments.

Is it possible to book the cab even in advance ?
For book a cab in advance you can click on the "Book" command on the Home screen.
As with the "call" command, it is possible to use filters to customize the ride and change the location to which the cab will be sent.
Unlike direct calls, you are asked to to enter the date and time of the reservation, again once the reservation is received it will be confirmed by the radio cab control center.
About 10 minutes before the indicated time a notification will arrive with the abbreviation of the arriving cab (e.g. FLORENCE48 or UDINE74).It is important to remember that in the case of reservations are charged the minutes in advance of the meter, this is because the taxi driver, in order to avoid delays to the customer, is engaged a few minutes earlier than the classic call at the time.

I can't get a reservation, is it possible to call for assistance ?
If you have problems in the booking process, simply click on the "Call the Call Center" command found in the top left menu.
This command will put you in touch with the radio cab dispatcher who will provide all the help you need to complete your reservation.
Our operators are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will be able to help and guide you in calling and booking a cab through our App.

I can't remember which runs I have made, how can I do it ?
To view your trip history on cabs participating in the InTaxi service, you must click on the "Trips Taken" command found in the top left menu.
Through this command you will be able to see your latest cab rides or rides booked but not yet taken.
Whether you are in Milan, Rome, Turin or the other cities is not important, you will see all the latest runs made.

Can I also pay through the Globix system ?
The InTaxi App can be linked to the Globix ride payment system via the command on the "Home" screen.
Through this command it is possible to pay for rides made at the end of the month in one lump sum.
This mode is very convenient for those who make many runs during the month or for companies that need to manage the travel of many people.

I see some moving logos on the Map, what are they ?
On the Map you can see real-time cab movements of radio cab fleets that join InTaxi.
For example, if you are in Milan you will be able to see on the map many red logos with the words 028585, these are the cabs in the fleet of Milan's historic radio cab, active since 1960.
If you are in Rome, on the other hand, you will see orange logos that say 066645, these are the cabs in the ProntoTaxi fleet in Rome.
InTaxi is a cab booking service active in major Italian cities including Milan, Rome, Turin, Udine, Como, Trieste, Trento, Prato, Piacenza and Genoa!

How is the cab fare calculated ?
Cab fares are regulated through special municipal regulations and, on almost all Italian cities, are on a multiple basis, meaning the price is calculated taking into account the time taken and the speed of travel.
However, the price can be affected by several factors, such as traffic and the route the taxi driver has to take to reach the customer's pickup point.
There are many fare calculators on the Web, but what we always remind our clients is that these tools are only given of the route, to which the cab's arrival time must then be added; moreover, in particularly inconvenient, mountainous or high-traffic areas, the estimate may be completely different from what the actual value of the ride is.

How does cab payment work ?
InTaxi helps you with cab booking, speeding up both the process of calling and booking in advance; and through the app you can also choose to pay for the cab at the end of the ride.
The cab, in fact, can be paid either in cash, or through POS, or directly through the InTaxi app, in which case one must first associate one's credit card, private or corporate, with the app, and when the taxi driver will communicate the amount to be paid, express the willingness to pay through the app, at which point the taxi driver will ask for the ride code, which can be found by clicking on the green button in the upper right corner with the euro icon; the taxi driver will enter it on his on-board device, and then send a notification to the customer's device, which must enter the amount of the transaction displayed on the taximeter on his smartphone, the taxi driver, again through the on-board device, will see the amount of the transaction on his display, and if correct, will confirm it, thus closing the transaction: quick and easy!

What is a Radiotaxi station ?
The Radiotaxi control center is an operations center that is used by taxi drivers to handle calls and search for the nearest cab to the area concerned, at the end of the search the applicant is told the initials and number of the incoming cab car.
The same principle has been applied to our application, with the only difference being that the reservation is not by phone, but digitized; in our case, too, a search for the nearest cab to the address located by GPS or by manual entry is made, and the estimated time of arrival and the cab's initials are given.
Intaxi's system manages calls and reservations within the different radio cabs in Italy, in fact our application is able to search within the individual local exchanges, the closest cab to the user's request that has the desired characteristics.

Is a fee charged to the ride book via app ?
No registration fees, no activation fees, and no additional fees or commissions are charged for rides booked through our app.
Unlike other apps, our app is Italian, free and transparent; indeed, with our app you are always assured that you can pay with your registered credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) whether private or corporate.

I requested the cab but I don't need it anymore, what do I do?
It can happen that we book a cab by mistake, either by not thinking about it or because we mistakenly press a button within our app.
It may also happen that you book a cab for a planned move, but then no longer have a need for it because you have opted for another solution.
If the request is made through the app you can cancel it by simply going to see the call and canceling it promptly, remember that in the case of a reservation, the taxi driver leaves for the given address about 10 minutes earlier, leaving his or her priority at the parking lot to other colleagues.
When the taxi driver accepts the call he will miss others, and will deny his service at that time to those who really need it. In addition to the missed ride, the taxi driver will then lose priority to the parking space and the time and cost of the vehicle to reach the pick-up point, which may be several kilometers from the location.
This is why we always recommend that you be certain of your location, including checking the address and house number on your confirmation, and the move to be made before making the reservation, and cancel it as soon as possible if it is no longer needed.

Do I have to register in order to use the service ?
The InTaxi app is designed specifically to allow cabs to be hailed in major Italian cities, without any need for telephone contact with the radio station, which, however, handles the request.
In order to do this, it is essential to have the user's contact information, because in case of problems the center must be able to communicate with the customer himself.
The information that is provided is not placed in an advertising box, so no one will contact you either by phone or email to make an advertising pitch.
The payment system that you register on the app, if you decide to use this payment method, comes to our app in an encrypted manner, so we are neither aware of nor in possession of your payment information, it is only used to make the transaction.

Is it possible to request a cab at the airport or station ?
Each city/province/region has its own regulations regarding cab hailing, and our app fully complies with these regulations as do our radio cab partners.
On some cities it is therefore not possible to request a cab at the airport, such as at Milan Malpensa, Milan Orio Al Serio, and Milan Linate; at other airports, however, there are no problems, such as at Rome Ciampino and Rome Fiumicino.
The same argument extends to stations, in Milan for example, it is not possible to request a cab at the central station, where there are as many as 3 cab stand areas with several radio cab cars 028585 always available 24 hours a day.
For this reason, we always encourage you to consult local regulations, found both on institutional websites and on the websites of radio cab partners and on the pages of our website dedicated to the city of your interest.
