How does the InTaxi app work ?

Download and Service Registration
The first step is to downloading the app from your carrier's store; the app is available for both Apple and Android devices, and is constantly being updated with features and bug fixes, based on user reports.

First access to the InTaxi App
- The first time you open the APP you must register:
- Enter your information: first name, last name, email address, a password of your choice, phone number
- If you want, you can enter one or more credit cards and the most frequently used addresses right away, or you can do it later by accessing the personal
- Accept terms of use
- Once you complete the registration you will receive an SMS with a code to verify the correctness of the phone number provided
- Enter the code in the field and complete the procedure
- In case you do not receive the SMS check that you have entered the correct number and try again
Once registered, depending on the smartphone being used, you may be required to memorize credentials; to use the app, there is no need to log in each time as the phone number entered during registration is recognized.

Complete your profile
To speed up your operations you can register one or more credit cards and your favorite addresses
- Open the menu at the top left
- Click on your name to open profile
- Choose "payment methods"
- Fill in the card information and authorize it
- You will see your cards and can choose which one to charge when you pay for the ride

Call or book with one click
This is the main screen of the app, right now, if the GPS on our smartphone is on, we will be located and by clicking on the yellow button "Call Taxi" we can request a cab that will arrive with an estimated waiting time equal to the minutes displayed in the central part of the screen.
If the detected address is not correct, it is possible to change it manually by clicking on the displayed street name and going to delete and enter the correct address complete with street number, at which point the software will automatically suggest the found street, simply click on it to set it as the take address.
As soon as the request is forwarded, it is handled by the city's radio cab dispatch center, the taxi driver is searched: all this will be shown on the smartphone display with a countdown.
You do not need to keep the APP open while processing your reservation. You will receive a confirmation message and can check it from the menu or by clicking the calendar icon in the upper left corner.
In addition, you can check the location of the cab coming to you at any time, this is to ensure maximum transparency.
In just one click we saved the time of calling, waiting, communication of our data and confirmation of the cab; but the possibilities offered by InTaxi do not end there...

Basic cab call settings
It may happen that we need to hail a cab in a location other than where we are right now, or the location system of our smartphone is not accurate, or even a GPS problem: for all these cases the InTaxi app also provides for the entry of the Pick-Up point, in the central part of the page you can manually type the pick-up address.
If we have special requirements for our cab ride we can select them by clicking on the "options" button, this way we are presented on the screen with the screen below, where you can indicate the number of passengers, if you have luggage in tow, if you need a high or low car, if you need a taxi driver who speaks English and if we travel accompanied by a 4-legged friend!
The options selected will not be simple travel "preferences" but will narrow down the circle of cabs suitable for our ride, so if many options are selected it is possible that waiting times will be higher than normal.

Book the cab in advance
With the InTaxi app, it is possible, in addition to real-time booking, to call a cab in advance.
To do this all you have to do is click on the "book" button in the lower right corner, doing so will move the yellow icon previously placed on "call" and an additional line will be displayed where you can select the day and time of the reservation.
Once you have selected these details, and any other required options, you must click on the "call cab" button to confirm your request.
Also, if your schedule changes you can cancel your request directly through the app.
* Remember that in case of advance booking, the taxi driver will be searched about 10 minutes earlier, and the meter when the customer gets in will take into account the elapsed minutes.

Payment by Card and With Globix
If you pay with GLOBIX you will not have to do anything as selecting the option to the taxi driver automatically gets your customer code associated with the agreement made with the radio cab.
Paying by card is also super easy.
- At the end of the ride click on the green button with the "€" symbol in the upper right corner
- Choose the card to charge the ride to
- Check the ride details and enter the meter amount plus tip if you want.
- A message will confirm that payment has been made
- An email will automatically be sent to you with a receipt for the ride
Remember that downloading and using InTaxi is completely free, ride rates do not change, and no additional fees are charged for in-app credit card payments!

Control your movements
You can keep track of all your reservations and rides made.
- Open the menu in the upper right corner
- Click on "reservations" or "runs made"
- You will see the list of rides and can cancel reservations or delete rides made from the history
If you have registered your credit card within the app and choose the in-app cab payment method you will receive an email at the end of each ride with all the summary data.
